Vertellus Specialties is seeking and experienced professional to provide instrumentation and electrical repair and maintenance to support our chemical production processes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, calibration and repair of electro-mechanical devices that measure flow, pressure, temperature, and level. Responsibilities also include trouble shooting, repair and installation of electric motors and motor controls, 120V/240V/480V circuits, and variable speed drives.

The successful candidate will possess a two-year degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field. Candidates with 3 + years field experience with electrical and mechanical controls will be given preference.

The candidate must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, have good basic math skills, be able to work independently, be able to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds, work in extreme temperatures, indoors and out and be able to work any shift. There will also be contact with a variety of chemicals and chemical waste products, some of which can be hazardous.
