A unique opportunity now exists for an experienced Director – Global Supply Chain with the knowledge and vision to lead our corporate-wide supply chain efforts, from demand & supply planning and customer service to logistics and inventory management. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Establishing and implementing a global supply chain strategy focused on cost reduction in support of corporate margin enhancement targets
• Improving the supplier base for critical materials and inventory turnover and serviceability
• Developing analytical processes, metrics and reporting processes to support senior management decision-making
• Taking the lead in Sales, Inventory and Operating Plan development
• Managing contractual relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors, while developing strong relationships with internal leaders to ensure that material requirements, lead time, operational constrains and performance requirements are met
• Managing global logistic function
• Supervising and developing an effective global supply chain team

This position requires a successful supply chain team leader with significant supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment. Other qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree ( MBA preferred)
• Over 10 years’ supply chain experience, 3 of which in a senior position at the corporate or business unit level; international experience required, chemical industry background preferred.
• Proven track record of developing/implementing a comprehensive supply chain program that leverages corporate buying power, drives cost reduction and delivers dependable and effective materials and services
• Experience in creating a more strategic and process-driven organization
• Extensive SAP knowledge, including MRP and AP:
• Excellent negotiation, talent management and verbal/written communication skills
